We had to postpone the event we planned to do in April due to the pandemic. Within the scope of the final evaluations, we have extended the application date to 9 October 2020, considering the developments in our country related to the pandemic. We plan to hold the award ceremony on November 21, 2020, again depending on the developments. “We have received a total of 3 thousand project applications in 8 years and we have given 1 million 156 thousand TL cash prize to the project owners.”
The first prize will be 50 thousand TL, the second will be 30 thousand TL, and the third will be awarded 20 thousand TL
Stating that there is a wide audience of academicians, industrialists, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and students within the scope of the R&D Project Market, Pelister said, “Our aim is to contribute to the spread of the R&D and innovation culture and to contribute high with the cooperation of university-industry-public-entrepreneurs in order to increase valuable production and thus exports.
In each category, we will reward the first 50 thousand TL, the second 30 thousand TL and the third 20 thousand TL. In addition, in order to contribute to our country’s economy in a short time, we will give an additional 100 thousand TL in total to all projects that have been commercialized within a year. Some of the projects that have been awarded so far have been commercialized and important success stories have emerged. Development work for many continues. I believe that it is necessary to be effective in university-industry cooperation in order to become a brand and to produce high added value. For this reason, we try to support both our students and professionals with our R&D Project Market, organized by IKMIB, and we bring new products and projects to our industry. Therefore, we expect project applications that will contribute to the development of our industry and our country.”
