Founded in 2024 by Smitha Rao a scientist, mother, wife and accomplished executive who has worked with more than 15 brands in the beauty and wellness categories during her career.

“In my nearly two decades of working in the beauty and wellness industries, I have had the privilege of launching more than 200 products. The products I previously created had such an emotional impact on the people who used it, transforming their self-perception, improving their confidence and ultimately the power to change their life. As much as I witnessed the transformative powers of beauty, I felt that the industry marketing itself was going backwards in some ways. Whether it was dumbing down the science, age shaming, choosing unrealistic models or hiding behind ‘magic’ and ‘miracles’ while claiming exaggerated benefits.

“My dream was to create a modern beauty brand rooted in transparency and integrity, reclaiming science as something that everyone can understand and trust,” said Rao.

  • Step 3: Prevent: RH5.5™ Hydrabond Primer (MSRP $49 (1 oz.)Combines 5.5% bioactives, light-reflecting pigments and soft-focus natural powders to create the perfect canvas for makeup application.
