International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) is the largest international society in the field of aesthetic surgery and have more than 6000 members from 117 countries. Besides the several educational activities on aesthetic surgery, ISAPS organizes biannual World Congress where the most recent developements are discussed with participation of the best experts in this field. This Congress is usually held in the country of the current ISAPS President.
The 26th ISAPS World Congress will be held in Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention Center between 20-24 September.This organization will be very helpful for the prestige and recognition of Turkish plastic surgery in the international scientific arena. more than 2000 plastic surgeon will attend this event, the vast majority of are international participants. The best aesthetic plastic surgeons of the world will come to Istanbul and share their experience with their lectures and live surgery demonstrations. In the first day of the Congress 14 best surgeons in their field will perform live surgeries to show their most recent techniques, 3 of them are Turkish. The surgeries will be broadcasted to meeting halls as well as all over the world on internet. On the other days of the Congress several sessions will happen on different fields of aesthetic plastic surgery as well as minimal invasive applications in five parallel rooms and the most recent developements will be discussed. More than 100 companies will exhibit their products in exhibition area.The ISAPS President, Prof. Dr Nazım Çerkeş will be the President of the Congress and host all guests from over 100 countries.
The opening ceremony of the Congress will be held on 22nd September in Lütfi Kırdar Convention Center Anadolu Auditorium. The Mayor of Istanbul, Mr Ekrem İmamoğlu will participate to the opening as guest of honor. During the ceremony Mr Zülfü Livaneli will give a keynote speech, as well as a mini concert from his selection of misic will be performed. The Gala Dinner of the Congress will be held in Kuruçeşme Divan hall.
