Entries for the Crescent and Stars for Packaging Competition were grouped into 13 categories including food, beverages, electronic and electrical goods, health and beauty products, home – automotive – office tools and equipment and necessary supplies, other non-food product packaging, medicine and pharmaceutical products, industrial and transport packaging, packaging materials and components, point of sale display, presentation and storage products, flexible packaging, graphic design and luxury packaging.
The winners will be rewarded in October
Applications for the competition, which was held for the 10th time this year, will continue until Friday, June 3, 2022. The success of the packaging that ranked in the Crescent and Stars for Packaging Competition will be registered with the ‘Gold, Silver, Bronze and Competency Awards’. Among the products that are entitled to receive the ‘Gold Award’, a maximum of 3 ‘Golden Packaging Awards’ will be given in cooperation with the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE). All winners of the Crescent and Stars for Packaging Competition will receive their awards at a ceremony to be held in Istanbul in October. In addition, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of ASD, the umbrella organization of the Turkish Packaging Industry, which has a trade volume of 28 billion dollars and exports packaging to the whole world, will also be celebrated on the ceremony day.
Expressing his views on the competition and its 30th anniversary, ASD President Zeki Sarıbekir said, “We will organize the 10th of our competition this year. It also makes us proud that our association coincides with the 30th anniversary of its establishment. For this reason, we will hold our 30th anniversary celebrations together with our award ceremony. This year, our competition is held in 13 different categories. The number of applications to our competition is increasing every year. It makes us very happy to witness this and to receive the reward of our efforts. I wish good luck to everyone participating in the competition in advance.”
